A little bit about me & why I want to apply for the course.
I was born and raised in North London to an English mother and Colombian father. At the age of nineteen I went on a four-month trip to South America to explore my roots before going to university. I had an amazing time and it sparked my love for travelling.
After that summer I went to university. However, after six months, I realised I had chosen the wrong course and decided to leave to take more time to think about what I really want to do. Since then, I have travelled around the world, mostly working in restaurants to fund my trips, trying to find what I really want to do as a career.
During lockdown I found Free Code Camp and started working through the exercises. I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey since then. Using a mixture of FCC, Codeacademy, online resources, and some short, paid courses I have developed my knowledge and want to keep going further. I believe Founders and Coders will give me the perfect platform to carry on my education in the career I finally believe is right for me.
